On January 10, 2024, it was revealed that X:IN's Aria, SECRET NUMBER's Dita and ICHILLIN's E. Ji will be forming a project group. Triple iz debuted on April 8, 2024 with the digital single "Halla".
On September 19, The Waves teased a new project group, izx! , later revealed to be the second season of the project group. Since then, no further updates from the group was provided, hinting at their silent disbandment.
