On July 17, 2014, Music K Entertainment announced that Yuna and Minju will be debuting in their five-member upcoming girl group. On March 24, 2015, the last two members Yujin and Jane were introduced. On April 10, 2015, The Ark debut with their digital single "Somebody 4 Life".
On 2016, the group's profile photo and page were removed from Music K Entertainment's artist page on their website, suggesting that the girl group presumably disbanded, which Yuna later confirmed.
