On April 3, 2025, Echo Entertainment announced their then-upcoming girl group SMORZ through the opening of their official SNS accounts. On May 7, SMORZ introduced Charlott and Lika as members of the group, followed by Hira and Zellda on May 9, and Vicki and Ginni on May 11. On May 15, 2025, it was announced that SMORZ will be debuting with their first mini album Always Some More on May 19.
