In Summer 2010, the group was formed by Jang Entertainment and had been training for a year and a half. Prior to their debut, Sumin left the group due to a leg injury and was replaced by Youngji. On January 27, Six Bomb made their debut with their first mini album Six Bomb First Mini Album.
The lineup consisted of Subin, Jiwoo, Navi, Hyejin and Uihyun. Youngji didn't appear in the music video but promoted with them on music shows. By mid-2012, all of the members, except for Hyejin, left the group for various reasons.

She later debuted as a soloist on May 27, 2013 with "왜 날 니여자로 만드니", as well as debuting as a part of the duo Duo Flo alongside Hyejin on October 29, 2013 with "Payday". She is currently active under her real name, Na Aram. - Jiwoo re-debuted as a soloist in 2014 with the digital single "Good Night My Love", under the stage name Soeun.
In 2015, after more than three years, Six Bomb returned with a new lineup under Pacemaker Entertainment, consisting of original member Hyejin (now under the name Soa) and three new members: Dain, Han Bit, and U Chung. On May 12, 2015, they released "Step To Me", a remake of their 2012 song of the same name. On February 19, 2016, the group made their comeback with the digital single "Wait 10 Years Baby".
The original MV for the song went viral for a brief period of time in South Korea, reaching over 4 million views within a few days. The song also went viral in China, gaining over 170 million views on QQ. com.
In May 2016, Pacemaker Entertainment announced that U Chung had left the group due to health reason. Some time later, Han Bit also left the group. In July 2016, the group performed with an unknown member, who ended up not debuting in the group.
In early February 2017, Six Bomb announced that they would be making a comeback with two new members: Gabin and Seulbi. On July 26, 2017, Lee Sol was revealed as a new member. The following day, on July 27, 2017, the group's first sub-unit Soda Bomb, consisting of Soa and Dain, made their debut with the digital single "Why I'm Nervous!?
(Male Friend)". On August 1, 2017, the agency officially announced that Seulbi had left the group due to personal reasons. On December 22, 2017, Six Bomb announced that they would make their comeback in February 2018, as well as releasing the first pre-release "In The Moonlight".
Following the release of "In The Moonlight", the group released the second pre-release "Beautiful Life" on January 26, 2018. In March 2018, it was reported that the comeback had been indefinitely delayed after Gabin was revealed to have a rare bone disease, which made it near impossible to dance and was possibly facing surgery. She later went on hiatus but appeared to have left the group silently.
During this period, Six Bomb also announced plans for a Chinese mini album; however, it's unknown if it was ever released. On July 31, 2018, the group made their return as a trio with the digital single "Hiccup Hiccup", unofficially confirming Gabin's departure. The comeback also gained attention for their Japanese AV (adult video) concept.
On November 8, 2018, they made another comeback with the ballad single "Your Neighborhood". In 2019, the group began promoting as a DJ team called Red Bomb and held their first concert in Malaysia on April 30, 2019. By September 2019, Lee Sol had left and the group became a duo, consisting of Soa and Dain.
They later went by the name DJ Bomb in November 2019. On May 22, 2021, Six Bomb announced their disbandment though an Instagram post. === 2021 aftermath=== - Soa started working at a supermarket as the pandemic prevented her from continuing her career as a DJ.
