Sometime in 2021, Sehyeon was revealed as a member of Future Idol Asia's girl group Silhouette as part of the 10th installment of the 'Future Idol Debut Project' which aims to debut various idol groups throughout 2021. She eventually debuted with the girl group on January 7, 2022 with the digital single, "Siren".
