On January 21, 2026, Midway Label opened the Instagram account of their then-upcoming girl group SAVVVY, simultaneously announcing their debut digital single "Simple Day" and revealing former LIPBUBBLE and eite member Gwak Yujin as a member of the group. On January 28, dancer and choreographer Gayeon was revealed as member through the release of their debut digital single's audio highlight. "Simple Day" was released on February 4 and simultaneously, the other members were revealed to be Soohyun and Kiri, the latter being an AI member.
On February 10, SAVVVY posted a teaser announcing they would be releasing first EP New Age New Gen-Z on February 13. Through its release, Jisol, Jisoo, Ayoung, Hyunjoo, Nahyun, Yerin and Dahyeon were revealed to be members of the group. On February 18, Midway Label announced SAVVVY's second digital single "Skidding", set to be released on February 24.
On February 20, Seon and HYO were revealed to be members of the group.
