In August 1992, Seoul Music, a famous Korean record label at the time, announced plans to form a girl group with four CF models. As a result, Park Sanghee, who had appeared on various broadcasts as a freelance MC while working as a reporter for entertainment programs, Kim Changsook, a former Miss Lotte, Hannah, who was famous as an advertising model, and Sa Hyunjin who was active as a reenactment actor were selected. After recording and practicing for 10 months starting in October, they had their first debut stage on SBS' music show Show Seoul Seoul on August 7, 1993.
At the time, they attempted to promote in both South Korea and Japan, which was quite unconventional for the time, and became a hot topic. On September 1, 1993, the group released their debut studio album titled 처음 느낌 그대로, promoting the title track of the same name. Along with the title track, they also promoted the tracks "너만의 나" and later "너의 바보".
In December 17, they released their Japanese single "きっと抱きしめて" which included the Japanese version of "이제는 바꿀수 있어요" and "처음 느낌 그대로" from their debut album. The single also included a promotional video of the track "きっと抱きしめて" On September 23, 1994, the group released their second studio album Popcorn. The album includes remakes of popular American songs from the late 1950s to the early 1960s.
They promoted the title track of the same name and briefly promoted "100%의 여자아이". On February 18, 1995, S. O.
S. officially disbanded due to inactivity. Following the disbandment of S.
O. S. , the members went their separate ways: - Park Sanghee currently works as a psychologist and is a cast member on JTBC's '.
