On December 3, 2021, Roa was officialy revealed as a member of Rocking doll through a prologue video. The group officially debuted on December 19 with their self-titled digital single. On June 20, SRP Entertainment announced that Roa would be making her solo debut on June 29 with the digital single "Signal".
On August 2, it was announced that Roa will release a new digital single titled, "Truth or Dare". Later on August 7, it was announced that the single set to release on August 16. On August 21, Roa announced her third digital single "Skip Out", set to be released on September 20.
On October 17, Roa announced her first mini album Liar.
