On July 21, 2021, Soojin was introduced as the leader of I. O Entertainment's upcoming girl group RHEA. As Rhea would be a group inspired by Greek mythology, all of the members got a name of a goddess that represented their personality.
Soojin was given the name Vesta, the goddess of the hearth, home, and family. The group made their debut on October 1, 2021 with the digital single "Time Travel". Sometime in later 2021, Soojin left the group for unknown reasons.
On April 6, 2022, Soojin was introduced as the second member of upcoming girl group 4seazn. On October 9, it was announced through their SNS accounts that the group's debut had been cancelled due to internal circumstances.
