Under the stage name Haena, she joined the Trot girl group Purple Ring. The group was assumed to have disbanded by July 2023. On August 15, 2023, under the name Hyokyung she was revealed as a new member of N-DAY.
N-DAY further confirmed Hyokyung's addition to the group as they subsequently started following her on their Instagram account. The group debuted on January 24, 2024 with the digital single "That's Me". It was also revealed that her stage name had changed spelling to Hyogyeong.
On October 19, it was revealed that Hyogyeong had left the group.
