On August 20, 2023, Lexie was introduced as a contestant of The Debut: Dream Academy. On October 21, Lexie withdrew from the competition. Lexie’s time on The Debut: Dream Academy helped her realize that her ambitions lie behind the scenes in music production.
On August 27, 2025, Lexie was revealed as the third member of the upcoming four-member girl group by HYBE x Geffen Records.
