Live idol agency To Hermitage announced in September that will be launching a new girl group. On September 5, 2022, it was announced that they will have their live debut stage on October 10, 2022 during the ポチポチ vol. 1 - 730 event in the Geek Live House venue in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
Later on November 16, 2023, they officially revealed POCHIPURI's members online, which consisted of members Mashiro, Dchi, Uchuu and Pomyu. On September 2, 2023, a sudden announcement was posted to state that member Uchuu will be graduating from the group the following day due to health reasons. As a result of the sudden departure, she had no graduation performance.
On October 6, 2023, they introduced their newest member Pana. However, only three weeks later, it was announced that Pana had graduated due to "personal reasons"; no further context to her sudden departure was revealed. On October 30, POCHIPURI announced that they will have an online music release.
The digital single album "ポチポチ→ぷり Lv. 1" was released the following day on October 31 and features original songs they have previously performed on stage. On November 19, new member Aki was officially revealed online as their newest fourth member.
She was introduced to fans the day before on November 18 during POCHUPURI's attendance at the HYPER Festival 2023 event. On August 29, it was announced that member Dchi will have her official graduation from POCHIPURI on September 29, 2024. On September 27, 2024, it was announced that POCHIPURI will be releases their first full-length digital album with the release of デバイス_POCHI on October 7.
In January 2025, it was announced late that POCHIPURI has ended their contract with To Hermitage and has transitioned to being an independent group, effective January 1, 2025.
