On April 23, SNS accounts for Okay Girl Group were opened, revealing members Shine Seunghee, Biny, Jihye and Ayoung in the debut lineup. On May 6, they announced that new member G-Woorin would be joining the group. On June 1, it was revealed that the group had been working on songs for their debut.
They originally expected to make their debut in July, but their official debut was on October 14 with the digital single "Okay Girl Group 1st Single Album". Starting from March, updates of OKAY Girl Group were posted without G-Woorin, signaling her departure from the group. In September, an update of OKAY Girl Group was posted without the appearance of Ayoung, signaling her departure from the group.
Subsequently, new profile photos for the group were released, confirming Ayoung's departure and announcing the addition of members Youngwon and Juhee. In July 4, Shine Seunghee announced through her Instagram that Juhee has left the group and they are looking to recruit new members for the group. The group is presumed to have disbanded due to inactivity since then.
