On June 27, 2024, ODD YOUTH opened their official SNS accounts. Shortly after it was speculated that the group is under TOP Media and former Girls Planet 999 contestant Guinn Myah is one of the five members. On September 18, 2024, Myah was revealed as the first member of the group, followed by Summer on September 20, Maika on September 23, Kanie on September 25 and Ye Eum on September 27.
On October 17, the group released an official brand video titled 'Best Friendz'. On October 23, they announced that they would be making their debut with the single album "Best Friendz" on November 1. On January 10, 2025, they announced their first English digital single "Best Friendz (English Ver.
)", which will be released on January 15. On March 25, ODD YOUTH teased a comeback on their SNS accounts. The next day, it was announced they will be releasing their first mini album I Like You on April 15.
On February 24, 2026, ODD YOUTH released a scheduler for their second single "Babyface", set for release on March 12.
