On July 9, 2021, a teaser was revealed, containing the phrase "Your Next Favorite Girl group" sparking rumors that JYP Entertainment would be debuting a new girl group soon (now known to be NMIXX. ) On September 3, Sullyoon was revealed as the group's fourth member through a cover of Sunmi's "Full Moon". The group debuted on February 22, 2022 with the single album "Ad Mare".
On March 23, 2023, it was announced that Sullyoon would be a special MC for the music program Show! Music Core, she would partake as a co-MC from the last month of March to the first week of April. This came after the departure of Kim Min Ju.
On April 6, she was announced as the new official MC for Show! Music Core, starting from April 15. On February 8, 2025, it was announced that Sullyoon would be stepping down as an MC for the program after two years.
Her last episode as a host would air on February 15.
