JinE first gained attention on TikTok in 2020, where she posts her singing covers, notably her cover of IU's Jam Jam garnered over 8 million views, starting her singing career. In January 2021, JinE signed an artist contract with TNK Entertainment. Unfortunately, she was eliminated during the second round and was unable to move on.

On February 23, 2026, it was announced that the singers of SoFA's then-upcoming collaboration single "Muted" were JinE and SongSun. The single is set to be released on February 25.
