The group was originally set to debut with a nine-member line-up, consisting of: Aurora, Saebom, Yeolmae, Lu, Chaebin, Gaga, Haru, Uchae and Sunshine. Yeolmae decided to leave the group shortly before their official debut, thus making the group eight. NATURE officially debuted on August 3, with their first single album "Girls and Flowers", the title track, "Allegro Cantabile" is a remake of the opening from the anime "Nodame Cantabile", the single also featured the b-side "Girls and Flowers".
The tracks originally featured Yeolmae, but were later re-recorded and the music video was restructured to not have any solo shots of the former member, although she is still present in the choreography segments. The group won their first award on Soribada's 2018 Best K-Music Awards in the "Rookie award" category. On October 30, n.
CH Entertainment announced the addition of Loha to the group, making them a nine-member group again. NATURE made their first comeback on November 22, with their second single album "Some & Love", the track "Some (You'll Be Mine)" was used to promote the release at first. On January 15, the group released a music video for "Dream About U", a b-side from "Some & Love".
NATURE released their first mini album, I'm So Pretty, on July 10, 2019. On October 7, n. CH Entertainment announced that former Produce 101 contestant and I.
B. I member Sohee would be joining the group. It was also revealed that Gaga had left the group to focus on her studies in China.
The group released their second mini album, NATURE World: Code A, on November 12, 2019. On December 20, 2019, NATURE announced they will be making their Japanese debut on February 12, 2020 with the single "I'm So Pretty -Japanese ver. -".
On May 31, an image teaser for the group's single album, titled "NATURE World: Code M", was uploaded on their social medias. Member Loha will not take any part on this comeback due to health reasons, and member Aurora as well, as she did not return from her activities in China. The group promoted with 7 members, later on, it was also announced that Sunshine won't participate in the promotions due to a leg injury.
On February 22, n. CH announced that member Aurora would be resuming activities with the group on February 23. On January 13, 2022, the group announced that they will make their comeback with the special single album "Rica Rica" on January 24 through their mockumentary series, NATURE Can't Go Down Like This.
It will be promoted with 8 members as Sunshine has not returned from her hiatus. On October 17, an image teaser for the group's third mini album, titled NATURE World: Code W, was uploaded on their social media. The mini album was set to be released on November 2.
Lu will not participate in this comeback due to health issues and member Sunshine will also not return from hiatus. On October 31, it was announced that the album's release would be moved to November 6 due to the national mourning period following the on the 29th. On March 9, 2023, it was reported that NATURE were preparing for a comeback in May, although it never materialized.
On April 26, 2024, in a now deleted TikTok, Haru introduced herself as a former K-Pop idol and a hostess of Royal Club in Japan. The next day, on April 27, n. CH Entertainment announced that NATURE has disbanded after agreeing to terminate their exclusive contracts, with Sohee staying with the company as a solo artist and actress.
