In December 2013, Professional Entertainment revealed that they were debuting a seven-member girl group named MOA in January 2014. The debut was later delayed to late January in order to perfect their performance. On February 20, 2014, MOA made their debut with the digital single "Inception".
Upon debuting, members Yui and Zelli left and were replaced by Dainbi and Zebra. On March 18, the group released the MV for their 1. 5th single "Inception 1.
5", featuring "Run For Your Dream", in promotion of the Kolon Section Marathon that took place in Gyeongju on March 29 of the same year. In mid-2014, Chanhee, Jayoung, Zebra and Dainbi left the group. This was followed by the addition of Namigeonhye and Hyoju to the group.
Sometime later, Sieun and Kimi were added to the group but weren't officially announced by the company. In late 2014, Professional Entertainment announced that MOA would be making their comeback with the new lineup consisting of Namigeonhye, Hyoju, Sieun, Kimi, Miva, Hyena, and Hika. However, the comeback never happened.
Since early 2015, the group became inactive. Their name was removed from the description of the company's YouTube channel. In addition, Professional Entertainment's website, Facebook page and MOA's Twitter page were deleted.
Therefore, it is presumed that the group has disbanded silently. Following the disbandment of MOA, the members went their separate ways: - Miva joined in Aurora in 2016, under the stage name Jiho then changed to Seulgi. She is also active as a trot soloist.
- Chanhee redebuted in 4L on August 4, 2014 then Ureka on November 14, 2016. - Zebra and Jayoung redebuted in 4L on August 4, 2014 then J-Young on on July 13, 2016. - Zelli is active as a livestreamer.
- The circumstances of the other members are still currently unknown.
