On September 1, 2022, Yewon was revealed as a member of the upcoming group mimiirose through the concept photos of their first single album "Awesome". They debuted on September 16, 2022. On November 21, 2023, it was announced that mimiirose had parted ways with YES IM Entertainment following a mutual decision.

On March 26, 2024, it was announced that mimiirose has signed an exclusive contract with Pocket7 Entertainment. In June, Hyo Ri revealed that she, along with groupmate Ye Won, are preparing for a unit debut with a band concept.
