On December 10, 2021, the first episode of Mama The Idol was aired on tvN. The show marked the return of legendary idols who are currently mothers. On the December 24th broadcast of Mama The Idol, the members competed for the position of main dancer.
In the end, Kahi and Hyun Jyuni had earned the main dancer position. On the January 14th, 2022, broadcast of Mama The Idol, the members competed for the position of main vocalist. In the end, Sunye had earned the main vocalist position.
On February 4, Mamadol disbanded after the airing of the eighth and final episode.
