In early June 2025, SOOP premiered a virtual idol survival show, V-REAL, through their streaming service, aiming to create a project virtual girl group. On June 25, during the final broadcast, the five finalists of the upcoming girl group LUVITA were announced as Kim Mare, Lee Elly, Lee Jooin, Pli and Hinqoc. On October 19, 2025, LUVITA made their debut on with the release of their first digital single "Rise Into You".
On November 10, 2025, following fan submissions and voting through the group's official SOOP channel, LUVITA announced their official fandom name as "LUVKY (럽키)", the composition being LUVKY = Love + Lucky. The name—stylized for consistency—is derived from the group's hope that fans can experience both love and good luck through their connection.
