On March 23, 2024, Yeseul, Jungyeon and Eungi started teasing the upcoming girl group LURA LUCY through Instagram. On May 15, LURA LUCY performed at a festival at Jeollabuk-do, South Korea. On May 22, member Eungi had a solo showcase for her digital single "Attention" and featured LURA LUCY as a guest performer.
This was followed by a series of performances at small events in South Korea. On October 24, Eungi was confirmed as a contestant on PI Corporation and Makestar's reality survival show Time Turner. However, she was eliminated on the second episode and ranked 17th overall, subsequently returning to the group.
Following a long period of inactivity, LURA LUCY removed all their posts across several SNS platforms sometime in late June and early July 2025. It was also noticed by fans that Yeseul unfollowed the group account on Instagram. On July 23, Eungi was announced as a member of iii, seemingly confirming the silent disbandment of the group.
