On June 11, 2023, it was announced that LOONA members HyunJin and ViVi have signed exclusive contracts with CTDENM, a newly formed company founded by Yun Do Yeon, BlockBerryCreative's former planning division director. On July 5, it was announced that three more LOONA members, namely Go Won, Olivia Hye and YeoJin, have also signed with the agency CTDENM, joining their teammates HyunJin and ViVi. On July 29, the five LOONA members held their first event under their new agency titled The 1st Field Day: Run, Orbit!.
During the fanmeeting, HyunJin revealed they have a plan to debut soon as Lussemble. On August 20, 2023, CTDENM released a trailer for Loossemble's self-titled debut mini album Loossemble, set for release on September 15. On September 20, it was announced that BlockBerryCreative, who had pressed charges against CTDENM for the use of the name LOONA in the group name and promotions, had lost their lawsuit, allowing the group to keep their name and start promoting in South Korea after the completion of their U.
S. activities. On March 14, 2024, it was reported that Loossemble was preparing for an April comeback.
On March 18, the group released a time table for their second mini album One of a Kind, set for release on April 16. On March 19, it was announced that the time table would be adjusted by one day, thus moving the album release to April 15. On August 11, Loossemble released a teaser clip for their third mini album.
The following day, they revealed the title of the album to be TTYL, set for release on September 2. On November 29, CTDENM announced that its exclusive contract with the Loossemble members had ended. Following their departure from CTDENM, the members of Loossemble were actively in search of a company to be signed together.
On April 3, 2025, member Go Won expressed that the group does not want to re-debut again but instead, they want do a comeback. However, there were unforeseen complications along the way. A day later, she clarified that there was no problem with using the trademark of Loossemble (to which she even had a call with the CEO of CTDENM about this subject).
She explained that what she meant by her previous statement is that there is a lot to process and it takes time to do these various tasks. On May 27, Go Won revealed on a livestream that there were issues with the company they were in discussions with so she thinks the group is at a situation where they are starting over again, hinting the group has already left the company that they have found. On May 30, member YeoJin revealed on fromm that she has a meeting a day later.
On May 31, member HyunJin also revealed she has a meeting that day which led to the fans speculating that YeoJin and HyunJin are going to the same company meeting. However, on June 5, HyunJin announced via the chat app fromm that she would be managing her own activities from now on by starting her own agency (later revealed to be Triangle ENM). On June 8, HyunJin expressed that if she could do Loossemble then she would do Loossemble but the current situation is not favorable for them.
According to her, she is currently trying to be active as a solo artist for the group's fans, C. Loo. The same day, YeoJin released her first digital single "Dancing In The Dark", hinting the members would be focusing on individual activities for now.
On June 12, HyunJin revealed Loossemble is taking a break. She confirmed that there was a company the group was going into but there was a problem between that agency and their previous one as well as the members having issues with the contracts they were about to sign. The group waited for about six months for the situation to be resolved but it didn't, to no avail.
This led to the decision of Loossemble parting ways with that company and going on an indefinite hiatus as it was getting difficult to endure.
