On July 30, 2013, Live High made their debut with the first digital single Hakuna Matata. The lineup consisted of A. Jia, Emily, Hangyeol and Gabin.
By the end of the year their public appearances had significantly decreased, leading to speculation about the group's status. Although no official statement was made, the group unofficially disbanded. Following their initial disbandment, the members went their separate ways: - A.
Jia began working in broadcasting. - Gabin participated in the Miss Korea pageant and won the Gwangju Jeonnam "Mi" award. - Hangyeol shifted her focus to musical theater.
- The circumstances of Emily during this time remain unknown. It was later confirmed that all members left the group due to internal problems and company restructuring within their former label, Red Creative Company (later renamed Crayon Star Entertainment). In March 2015, new social media accounts were launched for the group under their former, now restructured, agency Red Creative Company.
Although no official statement was issued, it is presumed that the group resumed activities following their previous unofficial disbandment. In the following week, posts were done sharing that the four original members, A. Jia, Emily, Gabin and Hangyeol had returned to the group.
On March 27, A. Jia debuted as a soloist with the digital single "Because I'm Ugly". On March 30, Live High appeared on the variety show Dream Team, where A.
Jia won a race. The moment went viral after she expressed the group's desire to re-debut despite their earlier disbandment. On April 28, A.
Jia was absent from the group's social media updates. Although the post suggested she would eventually return, the group continued promoting in China and Korea with only three members, implying her unofficial departure. On August 28, a new group photo featuring four members was posted on their social media.
The following week, on September 4, Bohyeyang was introduced as a new member, followed by the introduction of Soyoon on September 5. This suggested that Hangyeol had also left the group, as her profile was not updated, unlike Emily and Gabin’s. After a brief period of promotions, it was announced on November 4 that Emily had departed from the group.
On November 24, a new member, Rhea, was introduced. The same update also announced stage name changes: Soyoon became Ceena, and Bohyeyang changed her name to Bohye. In April 2016, the group began teasing a new release, scheduled for May.
On May 9, the group released their second digital single, "Happy Song", with the lineup consisting of Bohye, Ceena, Gabin, and Rhea, concretizing their re-debut. A few days later, on November 25, it was officially announced through their social media that Rhea had departed the group due to health issues and that the group would continue their activities as a trio. Upon the announcement that the group would shift their focus to performing in Japan, they released their first Japanese release, the mini album Live High E.
P1~Triple Jumping~, on February 13, 2019. After wrapping up their promotions in late April, the group returned to Korea, promising future activities. However, no new schedules were announced.
The group's last appearance occurred in June of that year, leading to the assumption that the group had silently disbanded. Following the disbandment of LIVE HIGH, all the members went their separate ways. - A.
Jia resumed her work as an MC and later pursued formal activities as a broadcaster, working with various outlets including National Defense TV. - Ceena returned to activities under her previous name, Soyoon. In 2021, she participated in the Miss Maxim Contest and also opened her own café.
- Bohye has been working as a fitness influencer and personal trainer. - Emily, Gabin, and Rhea have since stepped away from the entertainment industry to focus on their personal lives.
