In October 2006, 302:Skool Company announced that they would be debuting an eight-member girl group named Kirots in November of the same year, consisting of Jeongim, Seoyeon, Bora, Heejung, Hoyeon, Yumi, Youngju and Miyu. The group became a hot topic among netizens and was even named "Korean Morning Musume". However, Miyu was removed from the group pre-debut after missing three practice sessions without permission.
As a result, Vistee's Eunji was added in as a temporary replacement. On November 20, Kirots made their debut with their first single album "Marvelous Frog Cake". In March 2007, it was officially reported that Seoyeon, Eunji and Bora had departed from the group and 2 new members, Sieun and Yunhee, were recruited.
With this, the group returned with their second single album "Heart~♡" on the 23rd of the same month. Another new member, Sunmi, also appeared briefly in the video. Shortly after this release, Sieun left the group and was officially replaced by Sunmi.
On April 13, it was announced that Sunmi and Yunhee had been removed from the group due to their lack of will to improve their bad behavior. Around this time, Jeongim also left the group. One of them was later revealed to be Sangeun, while the 2 remaining members exited the group without their identities ever being disclosed.
This was followed by the release of their second digital single "Time Remains as Regret" on July 27. After this release, Sangeun left the group and Yeoeun was recruited. On November 22, Kirots released "Strawberry 100% OST" as the OST for the Korean dub of the anime Strawberry 100%.
Around the same time, they promoted a song titled "Tadpoles and Frogs" on PandoraTV. On December 13, the group released their fourth digital single "Christmas Gift". In 2008, the group became inactive.
While the agency continued to recruit new trainees for the group's comeback, plans presumably fell through and they disbanded silently. Following the disbandment of Kirots, the members went their separate ways: - Jaeeun participated in Superstar K1 in 2010 but was eliminated at 10th place. She debuted as a soloist on July 7, 2010 with the single album "처음".
- She later went on to debut in Harmonitive in 2014, UNIZ in 2015 and 4X in 2017. - In 2020, she became active as a model and voice actress. - In June 2024, she joined the live idol survival show Girls Frontier as a new member of the competing team Aka Ringo.
She later graduated from the team in September of the same year. - On January 10, 2025, she debuted as a member of the self-produced girl group Hidden Glow with the digital single "Spotlight", which was produced, written, composed and arranged by herself. The group later disbanded on March 20 due to internal conflicts.
- On July 8 of the same year, she debuted on the co-ed trot duo Daewang Mama. - Yumi, Heejung, Jaeeun, and Hoyeon became members of UNIZ, under the stage names Chie, Aini, Jaeny, and SongA, respectively. Hoyeon later left the group pre-debut, while the group debuted on November 20, 2015 with the single album "Replay".
They later disbanded in 2016 due to inactivity. - Chie, better known by her current legal name, Lee Sohee, established MyDoll Entertainment in 2018. - Aini debuted as a member of MyDoll Entertainment's girl group PinkFantasy on October 24, 2018.
She later left the group in 2020 due to health concern but still remained under the agency to work as a model. The remaining members appear to have left the entertainment industry.
