On June 14, 2021, Chaeyeon was revealed as a member of OneCompany2020's latest kids girl group, KIDOLS. She was previously a student in the company's training academy, named 'One Company Academy'. Later, on November 12, 2021, she made her debut with the kids girl group with the release of their first and debut digital single, "Sseuk Ssak Sseuk Ssak".
