Venny was introduced as a member of FANATICS under her birth name Hyewon in 2018, but she departed from the group within the year. On October 10, 2023, Kandis announced that they will be making their first comeback on October 23 with the second single album "Weed Out", and Venny will be joining the group as a new member.
