On April 18, 2024, insider news leaks and images revealed that JYP Entertainment will be launching a new four-member girl group in the first quarter of 2025. Their concept and style will be a take back to earlier JYP Entertainment girl groups such as Miss A. Previously, an earlier investment report released by JYP Entertainment listed "2025 New Project Launching" under their artists activities, though it was ambiguously worded and did directly refer to a new group.
However, an official announcement by the agency has yet to be made to confirm the girl group's debut. On March 17, 2025, through JYP Entertainment's outlook statement for its active artists for the year, it was revealed that they plan to debut new artists in 2026. <!
