Honeybee debuted with the self titled album Honeybee on August 14, 2000 with the tracks "My Love" and "너 잘났어" serving as double title tracks. Honeybee, for unknown reasons, re-debuted as J. S with the members changing their stage names: Yena changed her stage name to Jia, and Jimin changed her stage name to Subin.
In December 2001, J. S would release the promo version for their upcoming re-debut album First 001, before officially releasing it in January 2002. The group later disbanded in 2003 due to unknown reasons.
