On June 16, 2023, she was introduced as a contestant on Belift Lab's girl group survival show R U Next?. She ranked 7th place in the finale, thus being unable to debut with ILLIT. On March 21, 2024, Jeemin was confirmed as a upcoming contestant on Mnet's newest reality show, I-LAND 2, along with the other participating trainees, through the performance video.
Her official profile was released the next day. On July 4, 2024, she ranked 2nd place by global votes and became a member of the girl group izna. She made her debut as a member of izna on November 25, 2024 with the mini album N/a.
On February 6, 2026, it was announced that Jeemin would be joining actor as the new MC of Music Bank, replacing ILLIT's Minju as the previous MC. Their first broadcast as MCs took place on February 27.
