On February 6, 2025, it was announced MEGAMETA would soon be debuting their first virtual girl group IXIA which is composed of four members who have studied music. According to MEGAMETA, the members have participated in their debut by helping in the creation of their debut song and its choreography. It was also revealed that the group would be produced by the agency's CEO Na Byeong-jun and is the first virtual artist IP (intellectual property) project by him.
The agency's website was also updated to introduce the group's lineup which consists of members Cheong-ah, Haerang, Luhwa and Ziya. On August 13, 2025, it was announced that IXIA would make their debut with digital single "Hide & Find" on August 27. On December 15, MEGAMETA announced that after long and thoughtful discussions, IXIA will be taking a content break in order to fully focus on the preparations for their next release.
