On June 20, 2023, Seoyoung was revealed as a new member of Irion Entertainment's upcoming girl group IRION Girls. On July 27, their SNS accounts were deleted, hinting the group’s disbandment. On October 11, 2024, Seoyoung was revealed as the sixth member of WEUS Entertainment's upcoming girl group SOE.

On December 10, the Instagram account for the group was deactivated without warning, hinting that their debut plans were cancelled. On March 12, 2026, JTBC released a teaser for their upcoming reality show Flying Ari, where it follows the journey of nine trainees working towards their debut within 100 days. Yuna was revealed as a member through the teaser.
