Taerin

In 2016, Jiwoo became a member of the kids girl group Pritti but ultimately left the group the same year. Jiwoo had been actively auditioning for companies since 2019. Since then, she had passed the first round auditions for companies such as Belift Lab, Kakao M, and LALA Media.

Although she passed the final round of auditions for KOZ Entertainment in 2020, she was back to auditioning in July for Polaris Entertainment, for SM Entertainment in January 2022, and for Yue Hua Entertainment in February 2022. On November 20, 2024, she was revealed as the sixth member of Hi-Hat Entertainment's upcoming girl group (now known as Ifeye). On February 27, 2025, it was revealed she would be promoting under the stage name Taerin in ifeye.
