She is one of the first members that trained for VVS and is the last person to not make it to the group's final lineup. According to MZMC Inc. founder and CEO Paul Thompson, YSY felt like she had a different path than the group.
On June 24, 2024, it was announced that YSY would be making her debut with the collaboration single "Love Me No More (Remix)" on June 25. In 2025, MZMC Inc. updated YSY's profile on their website stating that she is preparing her first album with the goal of releasing it later in the year.
A day later, she was officially revealed as a contestant under her birth name Yun Seo Young. During the show's finale, she was revealed to have ranked 4th overall, thus making her a member of H//PE Princess. H//PE Princess will be making their debut in the first half of 2026.
