On April 1, 2026, Wannabe Entertainment opened the official Instagram account of their upcoming girl group HIGHSSO and simultaneously announced the group will begin promotions in Tokyo, Japan on May 21. On April 7, HIGHSSO released a group teaser which tagged individuals that comprise the lineup. The members of the group consist of former LIVE HIGH member Han Kyeol, former Berry Good member and soloist E.
SO, and former pre-debut member of FAVEGIRLS and soloist So Yeon (better known as Park Soyeon).
