On December 28, 2022, HANA posted a teaser schedule for their debut digital single (labelled as a mini album) "Bla:ze", revealing January 8, 2023 as its release date. On February 16, 2023, artcompany SOUL announced that Niya would be going on hiatus due to personal reasons. On January 3, 2024, it was announced that HANA would be disbanding after careful consideration and discussion with the members.
In addition, some of the members would be continuing as artists under the agency. Months later, on July 12, a photo was posted to HANA's official Instagram page with the caption "We are preparing a new album!!! Please support us!
". However, the Instagram post was later deleted and the group returned to inactivity. On September 3, 2025, HANA began teasing their comeback by making an Instagram post with the caption "Coming soon".
The following day, they announced September 19 as their comeback date and began introducing their new lineup, consisting of original member Riha and three new members, Jiwoo, Haeun and Jihyun. On September 19, they released their second digital single "Blue Lemonade".
