About
Seohyun debuted as a member of Girls' Generation on August 5, 2007 with the group's first single "Into the New World". On April 29, 2012, she debuted as a member of the sub-unit Girls' Generation-TTS with their first mini album Twinkle. She made her solo debut on January 17, 2017 with her first mini album Don't Say No.
On October 9, 2017, SM Entertainment announced that Seohyun, alongside Tiffany and Sooyoung, had decided not to renew their contracts with the agency. From 2017 to 2018, Seohyun worked with Sublime Artist Agency for advertisement deals. On March 6, 2019, Namoo Actors announced that Seohyun had signed on with the agency.
On April 29, 2022, Namoo Actors announced that Seohyun had renewed her contract with them. On April 24, 2025, Namoo Actors announced that Seohyun's contract with the agency expired. On May 15, LEAD Entertainment announced they signed an exclusive contract with Seohyun.
On December 9, KKUM Entertainment announced they signed an exclusive contract with Seohyun.
